Environmental Practice - Editor-in-Chief

This survey asks about how categorical exclusions (CATEX/CEs) under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) are applied. While CEs are not methodically tracked, they are widely used and an important part of overall NEPA compliance. The survey does not address how agencies develop CEs but how established CEs are used.

2019 ABCEP Awards

The Academy of Board Certified Environmental Professionals (ABCEP) has opened nominations for two awards: the Kramer Memorial Award for Environmental Excellence, and the Emerging Environmental Professional Award. 

The National Association of Environmental Professionals’ (NAEP’s) National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Practice (formerly known as the NEPA Working Group) is pleased to present our tenth NEPA Annual Report. This report contains summaries of the latest developments in NEPA as well as the NEPA Practice’s efforts for the past year. This annual report is prepared and published through the initiative and volunteer efforts of members of the NAEP’s NEPA Practice. The 2017 NEPA Annual Report includes:
