NAEP has 16 state, multi-state, and regional chapters and our chapters cover much of the U.S.. The chapters committee consists of chapter representatives to the NAEP and chapter presidents. The committee meets once a month by phone and at the annual conference. The chapters committee works on activities common to all chapters and is a great opportunity to meet and interact with other environmental professionals across the country. All are welcome to participate in committee meetings. The chair of the committee is Bill Plumpton. Contact Bill at wplumpton@gfnet.com to learn more about the committee and its activities. Interested in starting a chapter in a state or area presently without one? The NAEP would like to hear from you and can help. The NAEP can provide its “start-up” kit, mentors that have recently completed the process in other states, contact information for other NAEP members and environmental professionals in your state, seed money, and more. Contact Bill Plumpton at wplumpton@gfnet.com if you would like to assist in bringing a NAEP Chapter to your state or area. There is current interest in starting chapters in Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, and Virginia. Contact Bill Plumpton (wplumpton@gfnet.com) if you live in one of those states and would like to assist in bringing a NAEP Chapter to your state or area. In addition, student chapters are located at various U.S. colleges and universities and generally charge nominal member dues or none at all. Students interested in beginning a student chapter should contact Brock Hoegh at bahoegh@hntb.com. Please click the links below to go to specific Chapter pages:
