Renee Gledhill-Earley has been with the NC Historic Preservation Office since 1978. She first served as National Register Coordinator and in 1982 began as the Environmental Review Coordinator for federal and state undertakings. A graduate of Florida State University in American History and with master's degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the history of the New South and Library Science, she has coordinated the review of nearly 120,000 projects likely to affect historic properties that ranged from affordable housing, to highways, to nuclear power plants, sewers, cell towers, solar farms, offshore wind turbines, and more than a dozen presidentially-declared disasters.
