NAEP POLICY COMMITTEE

Commenting on National legislative affairs is a mainstay of activity in NAEP. Part of being a professional association means taking an active role in shaping the future of environmental protection.  One of the ways we do that is to comment on proposed or past regulation from our Federal agencies.

We at NAEP want to keep you informed of rapidly changing regulatory impacts that affects our mission.  To help us, please volunteer some of your professional time to monitor these activities from Washington D.C.  If you want to assist us in disseminating the important information to our membership please contact NAEP Headquarters.

You can monitor regulations from your desktop by going to http://regulations.gov.  A convenient search tool at that site allows you to stay current on developing regulations from any agency and on any topic.  NAEP encourages, in keeping with its interdisciplinary mission, everyone to glean not only EPA regulations but those of other agencies effecting or potentially effecting the environment in some way.
